The Good Life Hunter is a personal project that started with the goal of sharing content that would help users live a balanced and “Good Life”.
The idea came from a talk at The Good Life Experience, where Cerys Matthews made a remark about algorithms choosing what music we listen to, and making discovery more difficult.
The idea revolves around an app that harks back to a simpler time, surfacing content at random without interferance from a matching algorithm.
The idea to use the theme of "The Good Life" was both as an homage to where the seed for the idea originated, and to allow me to share what's most interesting to me.
Currently, the app is still in development. While this is ongoing, I will be blogging Good Life stories on thegoodlifehunter.com.
